Members of the North Atlantic Alliance called Ukraine’s accession to NATO irreversible and said they would support the country on its path to Euro-Atlantic integration.
That’s according to the Washington Summit Declaration issued by the heads of state and government participating in the meeting of the North Atlantic Council in Washington on July 10, Ukrinform reports.
At the same time, NATO members fully supported Ukraine’s right to choose its own security arrangements and decide its own future, free from outside interference.
“Ukraine’s future is in NATO. Ukraine has become increasingly interoperable and politically integrated with the Alliance,” the declaration reads.
乌克兰通讯社报道，北大西洋公约组织成员国称乌克兰加入北约是不可逆转的，并表示将支持乌克兰走上欧洲-大西洋一体化的道路。
这是7月10日在华盛顿举行的北大西洋理事会会议上与会各国元首和政府首脑发表的《华盛顿峰会宣言》中的内容。
与此同时，北约成员国完全支持乌克兰在不受外界干涉的情况下选择自己的安全安排和决定自己未来的权利。
宣言中写道，“乌克兰的未来在北约。乌克兰与北约的相互合作和政治一体化程度越来越高。”
